The 2 best spyware-removal software are:
1) CounterSpy (http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/product.cfm?id=410)
(Very good FREE alternatives for CounterSpy is Microsoft Anti-Spyware.
They came from the same source codes)
2) SpySweeper (http://www.webroot.com/products/spysweeper/)Ad-aware and Spybot are old news, and far behind those 2 above, even though it is free.
Hope this helps to anyone who hates spyware !!!
This analysis is based on what exactly? How are they better than MS Anti-Spyware? or Ad Aware? How about Spybot? Pc-Cillin? McAffee’s anti-spyware? How does it stack up to all of these?

I based it on my personal experience, private test labs, as well as tests conducted in labs from major corporations.

And just because it is about something maybe you don’t care for does not change anything. At least her post had thought and could spark further discussion. SS_Anti-Hacker has helped a lot of people on the site and has shown great care for other members…before you lambaste her farther…maybe you should look around at some of her posts. OH, and I am saying this as a member, not a moderator, this is not my forum to mod. However, the message is still the same…you can learn something from her.
Yeah I agree with SS_Anti-Hacker, about Spysweeper. I dont know about Counter Spy, but Spysweeper definitely works like a magic. I hardly know any kind of trojan which passes through the Spysweeper without getting detected. But a lot dont identified by Adware and Norton is just way off from Adware itself.
Actually, PC World tested several spyware-removal programs in their latest magazine issue, and Sunbelt’s CounterSpy was rated as the best. I would definetely try it.
I think SpySweeper is pretty good too.
I have always used Adaware and Spybot, and I thought I was safe. However after viewing this post, I decided to check Spysweeper out. I must say, it is awesome. Below are 3 screenshots. One of Adaware after it scanned, one of Spybot, and one of Spysweeper. Spysweeper found and removed way more threats.

state the God I worship in order to make my post any more valid…PPS: I also remember one of SS_AntiHacker’s posts the one which she claimed Windows is more secure than Linux for absolutely no reason, trust me I’m doing you guys a huge favor by not letting you get filled up with bull here.
