Hehe, that reminds of “Christmas with the Kranks”, where they skip Christmas entirely and go on a cruise, or at least try to!December 26, 2005 at 11:41 pm #135175LinuxAddict

ParticipantHeheh… *rubs her head* Yeah…that’s kinda why I didn’t mention much. People tend to feel bad once they hear.
Thanks for the thought, dearie.

Memberthe holidays are about being with ones you love, no matter what you celebrate. it’s about GIVING, not receiving.
as long as you have the love and company you deserve, then that would be gift enough. to me anyway.
🙂

ParticipantThat is a wonderful ideal to keep, and a nice idea, and really is the point… …but there’s a bit of a … … thing that comes with recieving something *even just a phonecall, which I would’ve been happy with* that lets you know that you’re loved.
And yeah, maybe if someone had spent the effort to be just with me and hang out or call, just give any kind of notice, it would’ve made things a lot brighter. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Something about sitting alone in your house on the holidays that’s just…blegh *wrinkles her nose up* heh.
Meh *shrugs* No big deal. It happens.
