Heh, this made me giggle. I haven’t been around lately, so i was wondering the same thing. How is Jeff? Still busy with the marathon training or is that done and over with?
(Just wondering!)
May 5, 2007 at 2:34 am #160575MrOatsMember…Jeff? Where are you?
Good luck on that Marathon, by the way. Hope you do great and raise a lot of money!
And don’t forget to tell us about it when you finish! 😉May 5, 2007 at 3:23 am #160576PolarBearNPRParticipantWhere does he find these things?!?!? They’re great! And begs for an answer. Perhaps Scully and Mulder could help 😉

Where oh where could our Site Admin beeeee…….. 😉
May 6, 2007 at 12:44 pm #160569Jeff HesterKeymasterSite admin? I thought that was YOU Spike?
I’m here. Yes, I’m still training for the marathon (it’s June 3rd in San Diego).
I wasn’t abducted by aliens. I’ve been on vacation in England for the past 10 days, and my Internet access was extremely limited. I only checked my email three times over that period, which was quite a feat for me. 🙂
I have been visiting sarahtowny and her husband, and had a wonderful time. I’m just beginning to post photos up on Flickr, if you’re interested.
I’m back now, though still really out of sorts with the time zone. This morning I woke up before 3am (local time). I also brought back a souvenir cold. Lots of congestion and slightly feverish. Hopefully I’ll be over it soon, because tomorrow I travel to Houston for two nights (where I WILL still have a good Internet connection).
Sorry I worried any of you.
Nano-nano!
May 6, 2007 at 2:41 pm #160578PhilipModeratorThank goodness you’re safe, Jeff. I thought you might have been assimilated by the Borg *cue Star Trek music* Seriously though, it’s good to have you back on mother Earth. And your internet access was extremely limited? In England? The mind boggles…:p
Your photos posted on Flickr are excellent. Sharp and vibrant. And what a well-travelled bloke you are.
Hope your cold has left you for greener pastures (or victims).
May 6, 2007 at 11:08 pm #160572SpikeMemberAnd by Site Admin, I meant Site Owner. Note to self: Don’t write posts too late at night.
May 9, 2007 at 4:38 pm #160570Jeff HesterKeymasterThe sad news is that though I got back late Saturday night, I came down with a bad case of the flu. I’ve been in bed ever since.
I have a doctor’s appointment one hour from now, because I think it’s gone into my chest — maybe walking pneumonia.
So I’m back, but still not quite 100% back. :S

And good to see you, man.
