I have noticed on a few of my friends computers that they will be idle or away and they will sign off and then sign back on like 5 minutes later.. but they will still be idle and away.. So it will be like : Online Time: 1 Minute .. Idle/Away time : 1 hour, 55 minutes. Does anyone know what causes this? Thanks 🙂
This happens to your friends, because sometimes AIM disconnects you automtically. And the reason they signup 5mins after, is that they have the Reconnect Automtically box checked (you can find that in the Sign On/Off Category in Perferences). So your friend could have left the computer and AIM will automatically reconnect them. That’s why u see them being there for 1min and being idle for 1 hr and 55mins, cause their computer has been in idle state for that long.
