hI ANY ONE HAVING THIS COMPLAINT WHEN USING YAHOO MESSENGER TO SEND MESSAGES TO A MOBILE PHONE???? Your help in solving this problem will be appreciated

Perhaps the phone is not configured to accept SMS….or not set up to work with YAhoo! More details please.

same problem with me also… i used to sms my frnd (we both are in Bombay, India) and he used to rec the SMS, but from last few weeks this has stopped…. now I use ICQ for the same

Well hopefully Yahoo should figure out whats happening. I sent out an email to their tech support and customer service. Lets see what cooks. Will keep you posted if anything develops

I think the problem lies with the receiver.I mean the receiver is allowed to get first three SMS and if and only if he/she replies to one of the msgs then u r allowed to send further SMS.I think yahoo has done this so that Mobile operators can earn a little bit more ;). So if the receiver haven’t replied to any of ur msgs its not possible for you to send any more msgs.

I personally tried this and now i am able to send SMS to guyz who reply to my msgs.

It could also be to keep people who send those annoying spam SMS messages from using up all of the text space on the phone.

So Oreo How do I activate this now? Is there anyway to reply to someone when the message does not reach me at all?
