Nessa
ParticipantNot that it’s easy to notice but I’ve been more MIA than usual so thought I’d at least say why. Last Tuesday I had a slight procedure on my tongue for a plugged up salivary gland and WOW did that hurt. I really didn’t think I’d need the pain medication but I sure did. Couldn’t really talk much the first two days but eventually it got better and by the weekend I was fine. Well now I had a procedure on my foot and this hurt less but it still hurt. It’s been a rough week….. Especially for a girl who’d never go the doctor and first time something is wrong with her only to be accompanied by a second time.
Anyways no one hardly ever talks in staff room unless it’s something serious so anyone been up to anything they didn’t wanna share in public bbb? This includes positive things like if you wish to tell me you won the lottery be sure to add your address so I can go become your best friend.
Thought I’d give perking up our staff room a try although my first paragraph was not the best, so sue me. lol

ParticipantFeel better Nessa!
I’ll pass on suing you. After just buying the house, and being a bit under the weather – I doubt I’d get very much. But hey! If YOU win the lottery please let US know, we’ll all come to visit and have a big party with you!!

ModeratorHeh, if I win the lottery, I’ll zip over to visit you guys, across the Pacific pond. But’s that’s gonna take some doing since I don’t buy lottery tickets because the chances of winning are astronomically small.
Nessa, hope you’re feeling better now.

ParticipantLuckily I am feeling better but just going through a rough patch of life where you feel you’re getting handed all the wrong ends of the stick. But I’m sure things will eventually get back on track and better.
And Philip, I’m with you on that one because I need to start actually purchasing one before I have that extra small chance at winning.
And Doris, maybe if you sue me you can take over my house payments and then I’ll fight back for it once you’re through paying it! 😉 jk

It was extremely painful. I was so always thinking – pfft who needs pain medication just suck it up. Boy was I so wrong….. It was a huge relief to take it because the pain was just that bad.

ParticipantYikers! Youch! Geezo! But I’m glad to see you here. I’m glad things are on the mend, literally.
And I agree about the pain issue. We can try to suck it up, but it’s nice to know that there is *help* available when needed. Maybe we should have a “favorite pain med” poll 😉 For future reference… you know… if any of us might need some at some point… heh
