Well folks…
After almost two full years of being on staff here, I’ve decided it’s time to hang up my hat. I’ve been extremely busy with work and such lately, and need as much time as I can muster up to deal with my career and personal life at the moment. I barely get online as is, so I’m not really doing the forum much good.
I’ve already sent Dave a message letting him know, and I suppose this can be my final notice. For what it’s worth, Jon has my vote to be an AIM advisor in my place. He knows what he’s talking about, he’s willing to help, and he’s able to be around more than I.
In any case… it’s not like I’m not leaving, just stepping out for a bit. It’s really not a big deal, just wanted to let it be known.
Hey Tom! Thanks for everything. It’s been great to have you on the team, and I wish you the best on everything you’re up to.

You’ll be very missed Tom. You are a great person and some one who is very level-headed and fair. You will be missed from staff for certain! Definitely stay in touch!

Aww, Tom… So sad to see you go. Be sure to stop by in IRC sometime and say hello, though. I’ll miss all the good times we had, man. Take care.
It’s always sad to see a good staff member take leave!, but glad to hear that it’s for good reasons. You really do have your priorities straight and hope all goes well for you. Hope you eventually work around that one-hour commute! So be sure not to be a stranger around the forum and definately stop by the IRC whenever you can.
Especially glad to hear you say, you’re not really leaving, just stepping down for a bit. 🙂 You’ll always leave a spot here, i’m sure of that! 😉

Oh no! Well, you’ll definitely be missed around here, and I hope we get to see you pop in if it doesn’t interfere with your schedule. I need to be hopping onto AIM more often so that I can see you on my buddylist!
thank you everybody for the sentiments. i’m actually going to be around even less, apparently… my computer died on me this weekend. (the motherboard is shot… so that’s nice)
i’ll check in whenever i can get on a computer… hopefully it wont be too long before i have a working machine again.
