Yes, the plurality is deliberate for we have a three way tie this month.
I don’t think this has ever happened before so without further ado congratulations to Anna, Den 44058 & Leapy Leo who all share the Arcade honours with 7 titles each.
Here are the amount of titles won in full for the month of August.
Anna 7
den44058…7
Leapy Leo 7
Annie Hall 2
Spark Plug 2
William Lee 2
Gravel Master 1
cjpower 1
detn8r 1.What a fantastically close contest that was, let’s hope September is just as good!
PS: I feel for you, Dr Kimble, I know you were proud of taking the Sober Santa title from Spark Plug but you did it on September 2nd and consequently were passed the cut off point for the August championships.
This could not be helped as I have to wait for a member of staff to reset the Arcade and it doesn’t always happen as rapidly as one would like due to curcumstances and then when the scores are reset it’s a clean sweep across the board, so sorry mate you will just have to win it all over again!
Best of luck to all of you for September!
September 2, 2007 at 9:48 pm #163885NessaParticipantOne question i had on this is why does it all appear like this? Is it because it’s not available to the public yet? I was confused on why it was all crossed out, so i wanted to ask first before i approved it.
Also as for the following quote:

That was not my fault, I have to wait for a member of staff to reset the Arcade and it doesn’t always happen as rapidly as one would like due to curcumstances and then when the scores are reset it’s a clean sweep across the board, so sorry mate you will just have to win it all over again!

I know LeapyLeo may be right to some extent, but i don’t think i really want all of BBB reading this. But that’s just my opinon.

That’s what i was trying to ask! And i moved it here to the staff forum because i didn’t want to approve it without knowing why it looked like this.
September 3, 2007 at 1:14 am #163880Jeff HesterKeymasterThe reason it looked like that is because of the
he put in the title (“Top Arcaderfor 07″). That is an HTML strikethrough tag. I’ve changed it to (s) in parenthesis and fixed it.September 3, 2007 at 9:04 pm #163884Dr KimbleParticipantLeapy Leo;222535 wrote:PS: I feel for you, Dr Kimble, I know you were proud of taking the Sober Santa title from Spark Plug but you did it on September 2nd and consequently were passed the cut off point for the August championships.Aww poo. Oh well, like you said, I’ll just have to win it all over again :woot:

September 4, 2007 at 8:19 pm #163887Leapy LeoMemberReading those put me in the mood to play and I’m now the proud holder of both the Sober Santa and the Chopper Challenge titles. Nobody is allowed to rest on their laurels:D
They are not very good scores. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to get to 6000+ on CC. Wonder how the tunnel changes that far in.
I’m just trying to give members abit of encouragement, that’s my excuse!!!
There was also a brilliant high score on Eskiv: 200+ set by GravelMaster. I’ve never seen anyone get near 200 before. Even Den couldn’t get near it and I think he’d won it every month since its introduction up until August.
September 6, 2007 at 3:59 am #163883detn8rParticipantNothing really changes in CC when you get farther in. The turning spikes only come more often and a bit faster.
But, once you get that far your finger is totally ready to stick it in your eye! The stress! :p
