MemberI’ve had these problems for a while but never got around to posting them…so here goes.
When I had the alpha version of Trillian 3.0 (Basic) when I went away there was an option to “Set all back”. Now all I can do is press “New Away Message” or use one of the ones I saved then I have to manually go away from away for AIM (2 screennames), MSN, Yahoo and ICQ. It’s a real pain. Any…suggestions?

KeymasterAre you saying you don’t have a “Set All Back” and “Set All Away” in your Trillian. You can recreate those if you have deleted them. I’ll tell you how but I don’t really know if this is what you mean.

KeymasterWell you can go to Trillian Preferences – Away Mode. Once there you can click on Add and create a new message and name it Set All Away or Set All Back, however you want, then click on Advanced.
For Set All Away, you check on all the boxes and make sure each instant messenger status is set to away.
For Set All Back, none of the boxes are checked and each instant messenger status is set to their appropriate online/available message.
These should then appear when you click on Trillian -> Set Status

MemberNot working. The Set All Away works fine but when I made the Set All Back one it doesn’t show up. I’m just going to go reinstall trillian….*wanders off*

After you manually add the away/idle/back messages back in, you have to go into Advanced Prefrences > Automation. Here you will find the events that set you to “Set All Back” “Set all Idle” and “Set All Away”. Edit them and change the away message that it uses to the new one you just created. -
