Cerulean Studios released their 3.1 beta yesterday. Check it out!
The Cerulean Studios team has released a beta of Trillian 3.1. This version addresses many things that came up during the 3.0 release and also adds some exciting new functionality.
Please be warned – beta software is buggy and unstable by nature. Only download this beta version if you are interested in the latest and greatest and are comfortable running software that may crash often. The final version of Trillian 3.1 will be released after testing is complete.
This is a beta of both the basic and pro products. Customers who bought Trillian Pro anytime after February 3, 2004 will be able to use 3.1 Pro for free! And, like always, all users can use the basic version of 3.1 free of charge.
Very cool….I went, I saw, I’ll download! Thanks for the update! 🙂
Sweet. I like the ability to see exactly what you’re typing…
Oohh… just wanted to say, I am very excited. Cerulean Studios has certainley outdone themselves. I think I’ll just wait until the final release, then jump in. 🙂
Its not very stable.. I tried it for awhile, but it would crash very often so I went back to 3.0.. oh well, should be more stable eventually.
Sweeeeet. I’ll wait for the final release. I don’t usually use Beta software especially Trillian’s since they end up getting a lot of “illegal operation” or “error encountered” type messages. I’m sure it’ll be awesome. I can’t wait to use the Pro version of 3.1. :woot:
I’ve been running it for two days now, and it hasn’t crashed yet…
I heard its good…but somehow…I feel that I should wait for the final version…however..is the memory foot print smaller in the new version?
It has yet to crash on me….it’s been doing a great job 🙂
