Register? Does that mean sign up? But, but I already have trillian pro! Yep @RK were all slow at times.
-quikThe installer is for both the basic and the pro version. It is now combined into one program, you only get the Pro features if you have an account currently (meaning a Pro account that hasn’t expired).. Or you can sign up for the 15 day trial of Trillian Pro.

I just downloaded Trillian 3.0 again and it still tells me I’m that file. Any ideas on what I can do about this?
f0rbez: the new smileys? well I dont know if this means anything but what were you using before you downloaded the trial? trillian pro or basic? im not sure but the new smileys may only come if you had trillian pro because my trillian 3.0 is a mix of basic and pro. none of the smileys that you type in are compatible with AIM. if you type in 🙂 you see the trillian version and the one using AOL/AIM will see the AIM version. thats why when you click the airplane one they dont see a picture of an airplane, they see (ap). so no. if you want your friends using AOL/AIM to see the smileys your going to have to ask them to get trillian.
-quikWell when you message someone it’s in a tab but then you can click on that little up arrow next to their name and by the X. Or you can go to the top of the chat bar and right click, and uncheck “set as tabbed container”
dragonreborn: oh I see. I never really used the smilies much. but before when you sent a smiley, the aim user wouldn’t get the aim version of it?
no they would always get the AIM version of the smiley and if there wasnt one associated with the code (:) 😉 :-d etc) it would show the trillian code like (?) or (!).
-quikIf your like me and u dont like the trillian smiles, u can get this plugin http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/3028344/ that will let u use the original aim, msn, yahoo smiles.
