Maybe this is a slight bug. When I close down my Trillian session, I’m set to away status. The next time I start the program all my other accts start back with the same away status, except my yahoo account. Does anyone know how to correct this behavior? Thanks a bunch..
February 13, 2003 at 9:31 pm #98037magistykMemberWhat version of Trillian are you using? It is a set default with Trillian that the status you close it with, it will open up with. Click on the Yahoo icon, go to Account Preferences, and then the MISC tab if you are using PRO. It will be under there.

February 15, 2003 at 10:58 am #98038skipcopeMemberI’m using .74b. Btw, I checked the Misc tab. I already have the prefs set to save my online status. I simply doesn’t work for some reason, at least for my Yahoo account. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
February 15, 2003 at 6:25 pm #98035magistykMemberJust tested it on PRO, and it doesn’t work for me either. Must be a bug in the program or they do not allow it yet.
February 15, 2003 at 9:20 pm #98032Jeff HesterKeymasterI’m running Trillian Pro 1.0, and I tested by setting my Yahoo Messenger status to “invisible” then closing and restarting Trillian. When I came back in, my Yahoo status was still set at “invisible.” So apparently it works for me. What I have noticed is that if you have Yahoo mail waiting, the icon shows the unopened envelope (at least in the skin I’m using). This can be misleading because it doesn’t really tell you what your status is. Could that be your problem?
February 15, 2003 at 9:47 pm #98034magistykMemberDid you try setting it to AWAY Jeff?
February 15, 2003 at 10:20 pm #98031Jeff HesterKeymasterYou are correct. I just tested that and the “away” state is not maintained.
