Hello there everyone. I was having problems using video chat in trillian pro and it doesn’t look like many people get answers from the company themselves, so I’m hoping ya’ll could help me. I have a 3.1 mpx 89379x digital camera made by sakar and am using trillian pro 3. With some of my friends, the video chat works jsut fine, no problems at all. With others, it says it connects but they see nothing but a white or grey screen. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated guys, thanks a lot!
first if you are using a digital camera in cam mode if I am not mistaking you need to install the software that comes with it and second you need to check your configuration under Trillian/Prefernces/Video & Audio settings.
I have installed the camera software and the correct camera is selected under the preferences menu. It works with some of my friends, but not others.

Well if it is so,then the problem might be from the contact you are trying to cam with.A lot of people have their firewall misconfigure which cause problems if some ports are blocked.I will suggest that you ask your contact to check his/her configuration.
