I’m trying trillian again. I’ve used it a few times in the paste but a few things have bugged me about it. So maybe some experienced trillian users can help me get it the way I want.
First, how do I get trillian to use my formatted text when sending to other people, but still except other peoples different formats? I’ve gotten used to peoples fonts and I still want them the same way.
Also, can I get the aim smilies on here? I want others to be able to see my smilies instead of a stupid text version thats going to make me look retarded.
August 21, 2004 at 1:08 am #40031FishAddict85MemberAs far as I know you can’t. I’ve been using Trillian for 2 years. Here’s my suggestion…get you friends to download Trillian.:p

Go into the connection manager and add a new connection with your .NET passport?
August 30, 2004 at 4:21 pm #40033PhilipgMemberI use a router here at home. Therefore am connected to a LAN. Is this what I need to change? I am “registered’ with MSN/.net with my email.

September 4, 2004 at 8:33 pm #40029magistykMemberPhilipg, there is an Edit Button () above your posts so you do not have to make three posts in a row. Please do not do this again. Second of all, when you have Trillian open, click the little AIM icon on the bottom (the first one) and a menu will appear. Now click CONNECT on that menu and do the same thing for the MSN connection (second little button).
September 7, 2004 at 1:31 am #40036superchase125MemberTrillian is a great alternative to running more than 2 IM clients. I am on ICQ, AIM, MSN and Yahoo! IM at the same time all in one convenient window. I love Trillian and will never go back to running 4 separate IM clients. This is a great program. I hope Cerulean Studios don’t stop making new versions of the free Trillian and only make new Trillian Pro’s. I believe it is Trillian 0.74 now that is the free one. I wish I could delete my mIRC file, I never use it and is a waste of space. BTW, this site looks great. Maybe I’ll stick around. 🙂
