Unable To Directly Connect

Hi, i use AIM 5.9 and i have this issue that i cannot seem to find the solution for, well i have a SBC Yahoo! DSL 768kbps and when i try to connect to a buddy on AIM, my DSL connection restarts.. i need help with this? does anybody have a solution for this? thanks..

This is more of a DSL problem then we canr fix, it may be your DSL cable modem, if it is try reintalling it or something, but its mroe of a internet problem. It may be a bad DSL connection/The Modem
