Noob… 🙂
i have a peculiar problem….i use Msn messenger 7.5 (build 7.5.0311), my problem is…i can change add delete and do all kinds of unholy things with my Display picture…..but on the top right hand side of the Chat window, of the friend i’m talking with, should rightfully SHOW the display Picture of the friend i’m talking with….like the good Ole Older versions…….but i can’t view them on my latest Msn Messenger Upgrade……….i have to go and click their lil msn Icons on my friends list…to view their contact card….and only THEN can i view their Display Picture….
is this the ACTUAL provision in the new Messenger ?…or is it just me ?
any help would be MUCH appreciated….thanks
Welcome to BigBlueBall SirRamzy.
No this is not supposed to be happening in the Messenger so we have to figure out what could be causing it.
Have you checked your options and make sure that viewing DP’s in the chat window is enabled? Do you have any add-on installed like Messenger Plus or Messenger Discovery? Have you used Mess Patch on the Messenger?
hahaha, i am such a dumbass…*shaking head*
thanks PrinceG, for the welcome…AND the straightforward yet effective answer…
*YEAH…there’s an option in the messenger, where you can disable other people’s display picture in the main window*
