Is there a way I can get more than 200 people on my buddy list…

🙂 I’ve got so many friends and I all enjoy talking to them and i need more than 200 names on my buddy list

If you go into your registry via Start -> Run -> regedit and browse through folders etc. you will find an AIM folder which then you will find a value of ‘200’ try and cahnge that to maybe 250 or such.

but i believe aol has started keeping the count on their servers. When you reset the value and load aim it goes back to default.

That might be true, I’ve never actually needed to have more than 200 as I manage them on 2-3 SNs which i would recommend doing and having AIM+ or a similiar program for the complete b-list up at the same time 🙂

Yeah you 2 spotted the easy thing in that siggy but what concerns me is the real name in profile is “matt matt” yet the avatar and forum name suggest a female poster. What’s up with that!?

and the simple answer is…. NO you cant have more than 200 on one screenname. AOL keeps track of the buddylists on their server so the moment you sign on it’ll truncate your list to 200.

but somehow i find it hard to believe that you really have over two hundred people that you talk to on a regular basis…
