Whenever I view a webcam in yahoo i get an unterminated string error. It asks if you would like to continue. Either way yes or no I see no difference. My webcam is having a problem with refreshing slowly. It works fine until someone connects then it appears to freeze and refreshes about every two min. I do not know if the two are connected.I have had this problem before with another cam. I bought a new one and it stopped, but now it is doing it again. I have tried adjusting the settings to no avail. I am at a lost I can view cams fine but no one can view mine moving. It also takes a long time for soeone to connect or it says my webcam is unavailable. It does the same in msn without the error message.

Mine will freeze up and slow down if I am running several different programs in the background. i have dsl so connection speed is ok but if i am doing a lot of different things or my taskbar is full of programs running in the background then my refresh rate slows and often stops.
Also when using cams with others, many things can effect our viewing experience. if they are running a different version of messenger can make it not work 100% and your webcam settings as well as firewall settings being different can also cause the cam not to work great.
here is a common problem and that is if one of you are using supercam mode and the other is normalcam mode this can effect things as well.
To get the best out of your experience using a webcam it works better the closer the parties are set to each other.
