My Dell Inpiron 1150 laptop has been working great. Until today when I started up, it goes to a blue screen that says as followed:
“A problem has been dtected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If this is the first time you’ve seen this Stop serror screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart you computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.
Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x000000ED (0x81ACF620, 0xc0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)”
If I restart again, and go into safe mode, it goes right back here. I can’t do anything. There is no way to get to a comand prompt that I know of. If you have ANY information, PLEASE help. I was going to get an iPod today, but I can’t until I get this figured out. All of my music was on there, and many other things. I hadn’t had time to backup yet…please.
