I have a very difficult problem.
I want to use icq, but everything connecting with icq.com is not allowed, so I need a way using ICQ but not connecting directly to icq.com.
And a webbased solution would be great.
I was able to load the webbased icq application by bypassing a direct connection with http://www.anonymouse.ws, but was not able to connect to the ICQ servers.
Can anyone help me?
1: Why is it not allowed?
2: Are you seeking help for a workaround to beat your company’s policy on IM usage?
3: Ask the network admin first.
1: don’t know
2: never read or even heard about a policy concerning im usage (in my company).
3: is not such important to aks the network admin, ’cause I would just need access to icq for half a month.
it’s simple.
Install the gmx-messenger at home, and connect to icq.
After that you can use a Jabber client to connet to
another alternative is to use web based icq clients like meebo.com
