vEmotion is an IM add-on, with which one can set background music for IM calls and send voice emotions/sound effects to partners. And a call recorder will be available soon.
It catchs the whole lot in an action that supported IMs include Skype, Msn, Gtalk, QQ, AIM and Yahoo Messenger. You can tune up all those big IMs with only one installation of vEmotion.
Furthermore, when you are not online, vEmotion is an excellent audio player for you.

January 14, 2006 at 6:14 pm #135816MartinBradleyMemberI’ve moved this from my section, there’s also the same in the Yahoo! section and the AIM section, which obviously I can’t do anything about.
January 14, 2006 at 6:25 pm #135818TigerbladeParticipantso… do we think this is just spam, or are we willing to let it be? obviously it shouldnt be in all the sections (or should it?)
it seems like it *could* be a useful product, but… i dunno.
January 14, 2006 at 6:28 pm #135817MartinBradleyMemberIt definately shouldn’t be allowed in all sections, but my main concern was that the member in question posts only for these products. Otherwise, he isn’t that active, which means he’s only here for one purpose: to advertise.
January 14, 2006 at 11:26 pm #135821amy_d_gParticipantI moved the Yahoo one here, there are still topics in AIM and Google Talk it seems.
January 14, 2006 at 11:50 pm #135819TigerbladeParticipantI’m actually leaning more towards simply leaving the AIM section one. Sure it’s easily considered spam/advertising, but it does seem like it could potentially be something someone is interested in.
January 16, 2006 at 4:39 pm #135814Jeff HesterKeymasterThis looks like a pretty cool product. I’d like to write an article about it.
February 13, 2006 at 4:10 am #135815shifterMemberI saw about 10 posts pointing soley to the same website in this users profile, so I banned him for spamming before I noticed this thread. You can reinstate him if you wish, just please explain the rules to him/her first! If the product is useful, that’s great, but it doesn’t give anyone a free pass to spam the forums does it? I’ve also removed all of his posts from my forums, as I don’t like spam. yech.
However, the product does have some potential, and an article could be very useful. I leave it to you.
February 13, 2006 at 4:16 am #135820SpikeMemberAso removed from the CIMA forums. Maybe save one thread and post it in a general area or maybe a news article like Jeff suggested?
