MemberReceiving viruses and spam in the mail is a part of everyday life these days. Nothing to do about it, except perhaps reporting it to Spamcop.net, but you know? Also, I would suggest getting Mailwasher at Mailwasher.net.

MemberYeah I’ve had this e-mail as well. I got it a few weeks ago and I was immediately suspicious. I scanned the e-mail with the norton antivirus scanner on Yahoo! Mail and it found that virus.
I recieved the e-mail twice in a week so I think that the best solution is just to block the address.July 11, 2003 at 7:24 am #60727Lurking_Biohazard

That is very true! This helps, too:
1- Never[/b] open any attachments unless the person has let you know it is coming in advance.
2- Scan all[/b] attached files anyway.Did I miss anything?

It is called Firetrust Benign, and it can filter your email and remove suspicious html and malicious scripts that many knobhead spammers use to track you…

MemberOk, thanks for pointing out what I missed. Yes, I would advise against using outlook, too. As far as not opening mail from people you don’t know, I guess I took that advice for granted. Thanks guys!
