voice problems

Hi,
I have an ADSL conecction. With my old computer using windows 2000 I had not problems with voice messenger 5.0. With my new one, with windows xp , I can make
a voice conection, but after s few seconds computer is completely blocked. Can anybody help me ?

Do you have the firewall enabled in windows XP as this is a common prob with XP.

I have a similar problem with my comp. As posted in other threads I have upgraded to XP from 98SE and now my cam won’t work and my mic doesn’t work yet it will work when trying to train the voice command program through XP Plus. THe built in firewall is not on and Zone ALarm never gave me troubles when on 98. So I have no Cam or Voice. 🙁
