i am having difficulty connecting voice to yahoo. I cannot seem to connect to a chat room or private message, soon as I press the mic button I get the message ” failed to connect to voice UI control. some system components are missing. install internet explorer 4+ which may solve the problem.” I have reinstsallted Inter net Explorer but I am still having no luck my mic and spekers are working fin as I completed the yahoo voice wizards with 5 steps, it just seems I cannot connect to teh chat client. please someone help me I have never had a problem with voice before I dont know maybe it is something I have mistakenly deleted!
PLEASE PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR ISP FIRST IN JUNE CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS BLOCKED THE PORTS FOR YAHOO VOICE….THERE WERE 300 REPLIES TO THE FORUM. THIS SOUNDS REALLY SIMILAR.

Run windows updates, get the latest IE build,
It is throwing you those errors, because your system is not up to date.
Or at least thats my best guess lol
i have just installed IE 6 sp1 but I stil get same error! I do understand I may and probably have deleted some fine by mistake while clearing my cookies and temporary internet files but I would have thourght all system files would be reinstalled when I installed IE 6, if that makes sense. this is why I am very puzzled and dont know what to do as the next step!
Can you get voice from http://chat.yahoo.com ?
Maybe the yascom is corrupt or out of date.
I know for the past week yahoo has been implimenting a lot of changes and patches.
