it’s still new, so expect a few bugs (like someof the smilies my not match up… but that’s minor…)… you can minimize it to the tray, and use smilies from a pop up context menu… there’s also a live updater, so you’ll be notified of future releases. Have fun.

Sorry man if you’re on 56k… but you need to redownload it. I just checked and it works fine. The next version I’m working on let’s you “install” the smileys you want to use… therefore a MUCH thinner program… okay, good luck with it this time around… oh and you MUST have the .Net Framework 1.1 to make this work… you’ll get an error, so go ahead and install it from microsoft…
I just re-downloaded that and .net framework. It seems your program is nice. But I think you should have said that you need framework in the beginning.

My best guess would be that the file downloaded wrong. Try re-downloading it.
when you click on the Smiley that you want… it is copied to the clipboard… so just open up your IM and ctrl+V… that’s it…
I open up smiley studio, rt click on smiley, go to drop down box, pick smiley, click, go to paste on im, nothing.
sorry, about the expression maker… my ISP somehow managed to delete my home directory, and … As of now I’m still working on the Smiley Studio, so there isn’t really any help available… but real quick… just left-clik on the smiley set that you want to use… the small pop-up ought to appear (the one with no descriptions)… and click on the smiley you want to use… (some of the smiley’s won’t match exactly what you want it to be… i.e. ‘cool’ instead of ‘laughing’… I know about that, but please drop me a line when you find one, so I can add it to my list of changes)… oh and also, you can right-click to get the context menu (the one with the descriptions)… the paste thing seems to ’cause trouble if you don’t use the left-click first…
The Close button minimizes the app to the System Tray. To actually exit, you have to right-click and choose Exit… When the ASS (lol) is minimized to the tray, you can right click on the icon in the tray, and go through as use the Last Smiley set (that way you don’t have re-open the program just to use another smiley of the same set.). Hope that helps.
another way to get the smileys is to download the awaybox program from http://www.awaybox.com the program comes in the form of an AIM Expression, and has a bunch of other cool features, plus it doesnt screw up your computer with a lot of extra junk that comes along with most expressions.
