I’d like to know if there is any software out there that I can use to capture my own webcam transmissions–not incoming webcam images but outgoing–either in .jpg or .avi formats. Anyone know of any?? Thanks in advance for any info. 🙂

EDIT – Moved from MSN Messenger Forums
Hmm.. lemme see here. You probably opened Web Cams forums to create this thread, but didn’t bother to look down 3 or 4 threads to see this?! I suggest you familiarize yourself with searching before posting a new thread 😉
Take it easy Detn8r, you seem to have missed the edit note at the bottom of bobo’s post.
The thread was originally posted in MSN Messenger.;) I’m sure bobo is extremely grateful for the link though. 😀
Actually, detn8r, I had read that thread several times but I still wasn’t sure that Snag It or any other program records OUTgoing webcam images, as I hadn’t seen that specific function mentioned in the (many) threads I read. I went to the d/l site for Snag It but before I spent any money I just wanted someone to tell me clearly. Indeed I did “bother” and I “suggest” perhaps you lighten up on us newbies a bit? Thanx. And shifter is right (thanks shifter), I AM extremely grateful for any help I get here. I’m off to buy Snag It!! 🙂

Oh my oh my. Please tell me how I’M wrong here to tell a newbie where to look? You read the thread several times, yet posted in the wrong forum? From that thread, and the link for SnagIt, you can see, that it captures everything that’s selected, and not only webcams, yet I’m in da wrong for explaining where to look.. hmmhm. OK, I’ll be like some moderators, and just ragg on members when they do something wrong then help. I don’t have a problem with that.
