I dont know about anyone else but when I warn those annoying people who IM me and want me to click those virus sites, I warn them. but the thing is I can only warn them once and then it says im not allowed to anymore. Is this something new in AIM? Why wont they let you warn people multiple times?
Yeah I have that same problem too. Has the warning system in AIM changed lately? because I could be having a conversation with a person and them say like 10 things and it wont let me warn them once. and there are very few people that aim allows me to warn. I used to be able to warn everyone.
Must be the notorious defective router issue…jking Alanna…It would be good if the warning “system” ceased to exist. Warning is conceptually flawed and should be removed immediately. I am not aware of any changes in the method of warning AIM users. However, David is correct about 1 warn per message. (to my knowledge)
Spyda, do you warn your friends as a joke? How else would you know there are very few people AIM “allows” you to warn? We aren’t kidding, it is 1 warn per message received depending on how many messages you send. Maybe the AOL servers block excessive warners…
I’ve never had an issue related to either of these, though I don’t use the warning “feature”. How long as warning been in AIM anyway? AIM seems to be a little slow on the evolution chart…
