Ok I don’t know much about computers so I’m not sure if some person just booted me or if it was Yahoo. My msgr has been acting up lately but this time it was different.
I was in a chatroom and I got a pm which I closed without even reading cause I didnt know the name and after that my screen went blank and the PC froze and I had to restart it. I went back and 10 minutes later I noticed that my Msgr box was all blank not even my friends’ names showed on my list. I tried to log out but PC froze again and once again I restarted it.
Does this sound like a booting to you or I’m worried for nothing?It sounds like it “could” be booting, even though you didn’t “look” at the message, it was opened by the program. The best way to avoid that, since you don’t read messages from people you don’t know, is to go into preferences in Messenger and change them so that you only receive messages from people on your friends list. Also, get a prog. like Spybot Search & Destroy and/or a virus prog. I hope this helped. 🙂
