Up until Monday when the new Beta build came out I was able to use the WEB based messenger without down loading and installing the software. That option seems to not be available any longer. Will this come back? I can go into chat rooms by using the “chat” button from the main page but then I cant reply to im’s due to fire wall constraints. Fire wall is also why I dont/cant install the software. Anyone know if the WEB based messenger will become available again or if there is a different way to to access it? Thanks in advance for any help.
A firewall should not stop you sending IMs, describe your symptoms.
If it’s a case that the IM simply does not leave the IM input box, see here: http://www.helpbytes.co.uk/nopms.php
As for web messenger, http://messenger.yahoo.com , Click “Web Messenger” on the left.
