Hi All,
I am running Windows XP Home and have a Creative Webcam that I have installed. It tests out ok in everything except Messenger. All I get and those I invite is a black blank screen, I have read manual and tried everything including unistalling camera and Messenger, tried other USB Ports etc etc. When I check Camera Setting in Messenger it is blank. Audio Video tuning wizard comes up with error message.
Any help appreciated ………Keith
Have you tried contacting MSN Messenger support about this? It’s possible that your webcam isn’t supported by MSN Messenger’s webcam feature.
Also, it would help if you gave the exact error message(s) you get whenever you ask for help, whether it’s here, at MSN support form, or anywhere else. It makes troubleshooting a bit easier 🙂
