I use my SOny digital camera connected via a firewire port as a means to talk to my girl friend in spain.
Using msn messenger 6.0 this worked fine. However, when I installed 6.1, I can no longer use my camera. Msn detects it in the audio video wizard (I can even see the previewed video), but I cannot get into web cam settings, and when I try to start a webcam conversation I get this message:
Your conversation cannot begin because your camera is currently in use or not plugged in. Make sure your camera is available and try again.
Technical problems prevent you from having a webcam conversation at this time. Please try again later
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
