Webcam Access (Again)

Yeah, that’s still just theory, and there is one small problem, obtaining the IP address of the “victim” is rather hard to do. About the only way to do it is to get them to do a P2P service with you, (ie. superwebcam or file transfer), webcam isnt p2p, i’ve tested it, it goes through the yahoo servers. Now, if you do get them to do a filetransfer with you, then you may as well just put a trojan on thier comp and initiate the webcam that way. You also have to keep in mind that some webcams (like mine) have a light that comes on when the webcam is in use, also some webcams (again like mine) have a shutter on it so when not in use, you can close it thus eliminating the unwanted viewing of your cam. There is also a way to view a cam under “anonamous” so they don’t know who’s veiwing, the program i chat with comes with that feature. I haven’t used it, but i’m pretty sure that it only works if they have it on, and it lets me view it without them knowing it, as far as i know. Also keep in mind that when showing a webcam, it lets you know how many people are viewing, so those who only let a few view at a time, know how many they are letting view, and can make sure those they don’t want to view aren’t.

My webcam was friggin hacked!! I was in a chat room like normal, and then I got a message saying “so and so wants to view your webcam…blah blah do you want to let them” like normal. So then all of a sudden, I saw 2 people jump on my webcam without my permission! I was like “What the heck?!?” I had 0 viewers then I had 2. I knew I had set my preferences in Yahoo to only allow with my permission. So I go to my Yahoo Messenger to double check my settings, and then I saw that it was set to “Allow everyone to view my webcam” and “If Im in a chat room, allow people to view my webcam”. Then the weirdest thing happened. They freakin moved on themselves back to my original settings!?!?!?!?!? I watched them jump on their own!!!!! The guy must of changed my preferences somehow to view my cam, then changed them back. I did a virus scan and I came up clean. I messaged those two people a billion times but no reply. Im pretty sure both names are from the same person. One’s an alias or something. The Yahoo IDs of the hackers were “anjahotty” and “me_masturbo2001”. It said “anjahotty” had a webcam, but if I tried to view it, it would timeout and never worked. I don’t know how they did it or what, but they took control of my yahoo messenger. Im not making this crap up.

My Yahoo preferences are set to not allow anyone to view my webcam (except for those on my list). All other requests sent I never see.. that and the box for allowing peeps to view while in chat is UNCHECKED. However… since downloading 5.6 I have to double check these settings EACH AND EVERY time I turn on my cam. I have even reformatted my hard drive twice (due to other issues) and this still happens. If I don’t I get webcam hits within seconds of turning on my cam.

One other tidbit… if an Anonymous person tries viewing your cam, view their profile. You will not get one but it shows thier IP addy at the end of their name. I have used this info to report them to Yahoo (not that I got a response, but I felt better about it… I have never had anyone viewing my cam that does not have permission, but like I said, I have to constantly babysit my preferences!!

I keep reading about all this but no one is really telling you how to do it or where to go and download the tools for it now is a simple program that you can download for free and where would you go to get the best IPsniffer for this all I keep finding is password sniffers and IPsniffers but none of them seem to work I was told that some web cams are password protected so where would you go to get the both of them and the best ones that really work anyone who can help me with that
