Webcam Boot

Ok…I’ve been looking into this for a while and can’t figure it out.
There have been two people that I have seen this happen to. Here’s the deal.
I know this sounds dumb but I want to provide a thorough explanation.

CamShower = person on cam
CamViewers = people watching cam

CamShower turns on cam and gets many CamViewers. Eventually the CamShower will lose her cam and all CamViewers will lock up (messenger lock up). Messenger freezes and we have to terminate ypager.exe in order to free the system. This happens consistently with the same CamShower.
The CamShower is using the latest version of Messenger and is running on WinXP. CamShower is also on a dial-up connnection.

My questions are as follows:

1) Is this some type of efficient boot, whereas someone has realized that by booting someones cam offline, the domino effect will trigger the loss of many people in the room?

2) Is this possibly some problem with the number of CamShowers cam?

3) What could possibly be bounced back to all CamViewers when CamShower’s cam is booted?

This has me boggled. I can find no information on any type of type of webcam boot for Yahoo or exploit.

Any information or insight you can offer would be greatly apprectiated.
