Although there are plenty of good reasons for webcams, the news likes to cover the more salacious uses (usually involving creepy old guys and underage girls). Let’s make the creeps uncomfortable… introducing, the Webcam Creep of the Week!
This week’s creep is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where 53-year-old Burton Morehead works as a maintenance man for an apartment building. Now some people would argue that maintenance guys are generally creepy (not me, of course), but this guy takes the cake.
One 26-year-old female tenant noticed a webcam in the vent of her bathroom. She immediately called police. When she went back to the bathroom, the webcam had disappeared.
Police came and checked it out and found numerous holes drilled between Morehead’s adjacent apartment and the girl’s. There were even wires coming from the girl’s apartment and connected directly to the man’s television. Creepy.
Morehead’s live-in girlfriend claimed he is innocent, and that he hasn’t done anything of the sort as long as she has known him (yeah, right).
So congratulations, Burton Morehead, you are our first Webcam Creep-of-the-Week!
