Hi..I have a trust spyc@m 300xs it works fine up until i go on msn messnger 6! i can take pictures with it and record videos…but wheneva i try to have a video conversation on msn it just shows the person at the other end a black screen. yet i can see them perfectly. ive tried this with several people and its all the same…any suggestions? plz help!?
Does the webcam work with other IM software, such as Yahoo Messenger?
Are you using the latest drivers?
I checked Trust.com to see if they had any information about compatibility with MSN Messenger, but they require registration to get to the help files…
Yes i have been on trust myself. i have wrote to the help desk aswell cause i could not find anything on there site to do with msn. ok..im helping someone out for them. and they say it doesnt work on any messnger. but im going to try netmeeting later. im not to sure if she knows lots bout computers so its even harder. but im trying to help so its hard for me to give exact details.
If both you and her are using Windows XP, you could try the Remote Assistance feature, so you can basically control her computer and see if everything is set up correctly. It’s something worth considering if she might not know what she’s doing, and it would make things a lot easier (and faster) for you 🙂
One other thing you could do is contact MSN about it. Perhaps they know how to get the cam working…
Good luck 🙂
