Webcam not selected.

Just downloaded latest version of Yahoo Messenger and it selected the wrong webcam.

I’ve got two fitted:- an old Creative usb 1 cam, and a brand new usb 2 which shows up as ‘ANC USB 2.0 Camera’ in ‘My Computer.

I’m running XP.

Double clicking on ‘ANC USB 2.0 Camera’ results in a nice Windows Explorer image of whatever it’s pointing at!

Yahoo Messenger ignores that and only wants the Creative webcam even if it’s not plugged in!

Any ideas of what I can do as I use both and don’t want to ditch the Creative one and do want to use the ANC one!

Update

The ANC camera seems to run under:- ‘Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32)’.

I suspect that’s why messenger doesn’t like it!

But what’s the fix?
