I am writing to see if anyone has any idea why my Twinklecam webcam no longer seems to be working at MSN Messenger. It used to work fine. I got some viruses on my PC, which I cleaned up fine, then I noticed that my webcam doesn’t work anymore. I thought maybe my new anti-virus programs were somehow blocking it from working. I uninstalled them, and it still won’t work. I figured I would update my Messenger, and downloaded the new Windows Live Messenger. Still no joy. I reinstalled my cam’s drivers – no luck.
I also can’t see any emoticons or display pictures when I am using my Messenger. I can’t use my cam at Yahoo Messenger either. I stopped being able to use it at both programs simultaneously.
I am weirded out by this, because I can still use my cam at Eyeball Chat.
Any ideas why?
