When some people send me an IM the recieve sound is wierd…it’s like copmuter generated beeps in different tones and patterns. This usually only happens when i’m talking to someone on 56k…anyone else having this problem?
theres an option in the newer versions of aim that allows users to play their own sounds on other peoples computers. look around in the preferences, theres a way to shut it off so that you only hear the normal sounds.
I was coming here to ask the same question basically. I hear the different sounds as people sign on, I found in preferences where this can shut off, I enjoy it though. It’s a nice feature I think…but anyway…my question is how can I set what sound other people hear as I sign on???
Im pretty sure, but not positive that that is one of the sounds in the expression.
I dl a few expressions from your site, great site and expressions by the way, love the way some of them are animated and you can move stuff (I’m amused by simple things) Anyway, my question was do any of those expressions have the outgoing sound thing??? Or that a feeature only for AOL or paying Expression Members?
Yes, it is possible to do with making your own expression. But I don’t think anyone ever does that. Too time consuming.
