Ok, I have 2 screen names, and I have the same people on each buddylist. I downloaded the aimclone patch yesterday and everything seemed fine. But now 2 screen names don’t appear on one of my screen name’s buddylist. I know they haven’t blocked me, so what could be going on? If anyone could help, I would be very thankful.
January 23, 2004 at 2:38 am #85623plastidcellsMemberthere’s the possibility that they have the setting “Allow only users on my Buddy List contact me” so if they don’t have you added you won’t be able to see them. I don’t know if this is it or not because you didn’t specify whether one sn was able to see the person or if both were not able to see him/her
you should double check that when you transferred your budyd list from one to the other, that it was an updated buddy list file, so check that those sns are actually on your buddy list
if none of those check out then imma out of ideas
January 23, 2004 at 2:44 am #85625Kross134MemberOk, I checked the allow list, and it said “allow all users to connact me”. I also checked if the sns are actually there, and they are. This is so frustrating.

January 23, 2004 at 9:53 pm #85626TrabMemberhave him (teh buddy you’re trying to IM) add BOTH your sns to his buddy list, then it should be fine if its the problem we think it is… if not we will have to check some other things…
luck
