weird ppl have all of a sudden starting IMing me and i dont know who they are …. they are mostly girls and they always say like click on this link to get free porn what should i do?!!!!!:confused::mad::( oh yeah i use AIM+ if that makes i diff. but i doubt it!!!

i’ve had that happen to me however it seemed to me like it was a bot IM’ing me sometimes as soon as i would sign on AIM i would get these messages so maybe its the next generation spam technique???

It could be something else like a bot or some people pulling a prank (I highly doubt that). Most likely: you’ve been somewhere like a chat room where ppl found out your screename, or maybe AIM + is giving your screename away (I know nothing about AIM +)…
But, what you should do is block the screenames, and if more people with different sns keep IMing you, you know it has to be because of a company. I may be wrong.

You can go to ‘PREFERENCES’ then go to ‘PRIVACY’ and then on the top left corner click on the circle that says “Allow Users On My Buddy List” so that way, only the people on ur buddy list can talk to you.

yea but then what if some one you knows gets a new SN and then they wouldnt be able to talk to you cuz they have to be on your buddy list

i agree with Liqkuidphewz10n(nice name. long one) ne way that dose do the trick but like brdmc3 said it dose block other people (like new friends u dident know they had a sn) what i just do is i just block all of the porno people who IM me and hope someday they will stop ‘caus i have all of the porno sn blocked!!!(but every day there making 100.000 sn or something like that)
