About 2 months later and I still can’t get into my old yahoo account that has been hacked but I have discovered something my old account (lovecary) is not accessible it tells me the password isn’t right. So I tried again today, it rejected my password so I tried again (hoping) it asked me to verify the word at which point I gave up and signed in w/ my new account. It signed me in w/ my new accounts “contact list” but everyone on the list saw me as lovecary, when I tried to PM someone as lovecary (which is the account that got hacked) I get kicked but then again sign onto to lovecary with the new accounts contact list. What’s going on? I’ll never get my account back.. but is it a virus because obviously it signs in and this started happening after I removed some things from my pc btw.

hi 🙂 … well i dont really know the fix for this, but i can say that i have the same problem and have had with three of my yahoo ids. someone logs in on my id and changes the password. at first i thought maybe it was just a problem with yahoo or my pc. but then the person has just started signing in and has talked to some people on my friends list. as i said i dont know the fix but all i do is when it says sign in problem it gives you an option on what you want to do ie “try again’ ‘ cancel’ or i think ‘forgot your password’ or something like that. i go in and change my password again and tah dah i can sign in on my id. i sometimes get the message ‘ you have been signed out because you have logged in on another device or computer’ so again i change my password.
