Oh my god Sarah… I happened to meander through Polish Fest this last weekend (summertime is festival time in my city – a different fest pretty much every weekend. polish fest, german fest, italian fest, pride fest, etc) and one of the performers was chugging along in her very Polish accent and decided to start in on Dancing Queen.
If you’ve never heard that song performed by a purebred Polish woman, you are not missing out.
oh, and I’m listening to Gustav Holst’s “The Planets” – love this stuff. Especially the first piece, “Mars, Bringer of War.”
Intense.
After being at a live show by The Crystal Method (my all-time favorite group) this week, I’ve been listening to their stuff almost exclusively.
The other thing, oddly enough, is this: SimplyNoise.com – The best free white noise generator on the Internet.
