I’m really digging their entire CD!
By the way, one of my fave sites, Last.fm, uses AudioScrobbler to keep track of whatever you play. They have plug-ins to support most media players, including WMP, iTunes and Winamp. And they have a nifty way of sharing your recent tracks (and other stuff) on forums, MySpace, your blog or where ever. Here’s an example:
Pretty damn neat, I think.

This whole album is so strange…
July 14, 2006 at 9:44 pm #119010RabidKittenParticipantHah, I have a great joke about Fleetwood Mac. I’m a big fan, personally, but one night I wasn’t thinking quite straight, talking to this fellow I was just… …enthrawled with and I got flustered (Yes, even I get flustered) and said “Fleetwood and Mac”. He laughed and said it sounded like some McDonalds Special. So…I made him a picture to remember that little story by.
Ooooh, Jeff. I may have to putter around last.fm more *tilt* looks like fun. Unfortunately I haven’t listened to that song you gave me yet *dodges blow* heheh. But I will! Promise. I have a bunch of new music to go through today anyway…whoo.

Tigerblade wrote:MCR is…. emo punk rock? Something like that (I don’t listen to MCR, but one of my old roommates did occasionally).Heh, mostly true Tom. I like them because they are just about the only Alternative/Punk band that doesn’t sound like they are puking in a toliet when singing… Think of them as “Diet emo punk rock!” :p

Sia – Breathe Me.
Oddly enough, I went to a drag show last night and a queen actually performed this song. I was tickled pink and an assortment of other colors as well. Really I didn’t think any knew who she was *sigh*
See, Jake? Myspace is good for something…discover new, fun music.
July 18, 2006 at 12:38 am #118959TigerbladeParticipantspeaking of MySpace, Sami… I have to recommend The Format. They were featured on the MySpace front page music section, I figured I’d give them a try… and wow. I love it. Awesome music for anyone who’s even slightly into the indie music scene. Best I can describe it is something like Hot Hot Heat meets The Shins. Fantastic… after giving the sample tracks on MySpace a listen, I had to buy their CD.
Currently playing: The Format – “Time Bomb”

I’m listening to the classic rock station on Musicmatch. I’m waiting for the shuttle to come so I can get to class. The current song that is playing is “My My, Hey Hey” by Neil Young.
