ParticipantI used to use Moz FireFox, but ended up switching back to IE and MyIE2 because Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes a pop-up blocker. =)
Interesting how 92.5% of users are using IE.

MemberI mostly use Mozilla Firefox, but sometimes IE. It’s just that when IE crashes, I go to Firefox, and when that messes up, I go back to IE. 😉

MemberI’m using Mozilla Firefox at the moment, but most of times I prefer MSIE 6.

Yeah, microsoft is very odd.. they allow pretty much anyone to be a part of their beta testing team, even I am part of the testing team and security newsletter where I get lots of cool complilers and other programs for free ^^

“nix” as in Unix/Linux/BSD/etc? Because as far as I can see, there are only two hits for “Lynx”. Now Lynx is a text-oriented browser for most modern operating systems (including Windows). The default browser for most Linux installations, however, is “Mozilla”.

MemberI got mozilla cuz someone told me that it was great and they despised IE, well, it didn’t seem too great to me, and it automatically set it’s file associations with out asking first, ::uhhh, I hate that!!!:: so it was done, lol, sorry, I just can’t possibly see how anyone can’t like IE, oh, and it changed the proper spacing on my website, that don’t go…..

That means your website’s HTML code is not written according to the W3 standards, it does not mean the browser suck. As for browsers taking file extensions automatically, Internet Explorer does this too. Even worse, it takes ownership of many, many more file types than just HTML files.
… not to mention that Internet Explorer is full of vulnerabilities that allow a website to crash your browser, send viruses to your computer, install spyware, open your CD-rom drive and much, much more.
I agree with you 100% that it’s a nice looking and efficient web browser. But is it good for your computer?

ParticipantI for one prefer Mozilla! Tabbed Windows are a very nice feature as well as the ability to control how it works far much better than IE. Lets also not forget you can disable referrers to hide what site you been to last as well as change threads and block images in the default program. Less leakage of information and when combined with Proxomitron makes a very good tool for browsing while keeping your privacy up better.
I use alot of things are not the most popular program out there because they are much better or more stable or less bloat!
Mozilla 1.6 + Proxomitron 4.5 June vs IE 6.0
gaim 0.75 / AIM 5.2.3292 vs AIM 5.5, YahooIM, MSN Messenger
(solid logging! tabbed IMs! multiple proticols! open source!)
(stable! direct connect works! security certificates!)WinAMP 2.91 + VID4WA_26 and in_vid-10 video plugins vs WinAMP 5/Media Player/Real Player/Quick Time/
(stable! elegant! transparent! no blocky feel! less bloat!)WinRAR vs WinZip
(better compression! handles more than just .zip format!)Acrobat Reader 4.0 or 5.0 vs 6.0
(does not take a long time to load… nuff said!)Other cool software I use…
Ad-aware
Spyware Blaster
Spybot Search & Destroy
RegCleaner 4.2 Build 772
Eraser 5.3
SecureIM v0.9.4
PyBoticide 1.31 w/Mods 0.0.2
Ethereal 0.10.2 w/WinPCap 3.0
Netmon 1.6
Appswat
Hostess
