You have to use the [ img] [ /img] tags. And put the URL to your picture in those tags.
However you should do it without the spaces. I’ve only put the spaces in so that the code will show up in my post. If I didn’t put the spaces in, this happens:

*EDIT* Just make sure your signature complies with the forum policy on signatures.
