These are unedited news “ideas” for front page stories.
If you want, feel free to take one, copy/paste and edit to make it your own, and post it in the appropriate news forum so it’ll show up on the home page. Then get all your friends to add a comment! If your article makes the front page of Digg, I’ll give you $50!
I’d like to see the front page used more, and not for those boring press releases that “some” people have posted. Consider this fuel for the fire!
Nice idea but BBB is not about making $$$, to me anyway, could be to others, over to them. Hard enough keeping ideas going in the main part of the forum, keeping spam out, and thinking of new ideas to keep the fire alive, that alone it hard enough.
BigBlueBall has always been about IM information. We’ve expanded that to include general computer support and the broader definition of social networking (IM on steroids?).
If you hear of IM, computing or social networking news, or see it here in the “Feed” zone, feel free to share it with the rest of the BBB world — I’m sure they’ll appreciate it!
I’ve renamed this forum the “News Room.” Remember that this is a staff-only forum. Other people can’t see it. If you see something that would be of interest to the rest of the members, please create an article in the appropriate news forum.
If you see a link or story ANYWHERE else that might be of interest, you can post it as news directly. If you’re not sure, or you don’t have the time to flesh it out but want to capture the story. Just post a link to the story on the other site, so that we’re all aware of it and have the opportunity to create a story from it.
