What is the best AIM version. I really want to know because i want the best AIM so i can chat peacefuly. Thanks guys!
There is no best version, each version has its advantages and disadvantages. Older versions may have less clutter and less crapware but they lack the features of the newer versions.
Newer versions also contain security fixes…stuff to help prevent you from getting booted off AIM or having it crash and possibly lock up your computer. I’ve always been a fan of 5.2.3139, 5.2.3292 and 5.5.3599. I currently use 5.9.3861 (the last of the AIM series) and TerraIM 1.2. You can grab any of the above listed AIM versions from me, here: http://jon8rfc.homeip.net/aim/versions
I’ve always asked for an official changelog of AIM for Christmas, but I have yet to receive one.
