what would you say is the best version of aim?

i need to reinstall aim and a lot of the new versions are kinda.. messed up..

are they any versions you would recommend?

I would like a version around 4.5, not very buggy, but less features, and it is more easy to modify yourself because theres not as much to search around for.

IMHO AIM 5.1 is the best. It is free of just about all bugs and supports DeadAIM3.2.

i agree wtih David. I like 5.1 the best because u get all the features really and AIM 5.2 u get all the bugs.
