for the last month or so my yahoo messenger has been missing its content tabs at the bottom of my messy.I cant get to my bookmarks or nothing unless I do a yahoo search.i have tried to reinstall 3 or 4 times and they are still not there. anyone know why?
Curtis, Have you gone to preferences in messenger, under general and told messenger what tabs you wanted to show there? If you’ve done this, and still those pesky tabs do not appear, you do need to download. However as you’ve said you have done this, my next suggestion is that when you delete messy, you cannot just use add/remove programs. You must also do a search and remove the yahoo folder and all contents. Beware that this will also delete your settings and archieves. Then try reinstalling and the buttons should be back.
yes thanks for the response,i have also done all of the above,however when I have everything deleted the only thing I cannot delete is that yahoo companion for some odd reason? my thinking is that there is a virus or something lurking in there keeping it to where I cannot remove it.But when I do go to my preferences both content boxes are empty?
