For my school, we have a class for “gifted” students, and I am in it. We are having this project where we are in court, and the prosecution is trying to persuade the judges that humans has messed up the enviornent and its inhabitants. I am a lawyer for prosecution, and I was wondering if anybody could tell me a problem with our world that is not being treated. Please dont say air pollution or anything like that, because people recycle. We are trying to make our “case” watertight, and I need a problem that the government isnt trying to help.
i.e. I thought of obesity, people are making themselves big and no government is doing anything about it.Don’t do obesity!!!..California and other states are looking into banning pop at schools to reduce obesity in children..so government IS helping there 😉
How about policing the internet?
We all know that you can find any pirated software, any movie, any TV show online, all you do is connect to a P2P application or certain HTTP sites.
I don’t think that there are any governments that are really trying to crack down on this type of stuff.
